Ehsaan Akram launched his career in a Big Four firm, gaining invaluable experience working on some of the firm’s top-tier clients in Toronto and New York. Subsequently, he joined one of Canada’s largest publicly listed restaurant chains and managed its finance function. He then joined a startup where he built the finance team and operations from scratch and helped take it public on the Toronto Stock Exchange. His next role was with a Private Equity firm providing parachute CFO services to its portfolio companies.
Over the years, Ehsaan acquired a wealth of knowledge and identified a critical market gap — the need for advisors with real-world operational skills. This insight gave birth to PxCFO, which targets public companies , portfolio companies owned by venture capital, private equity, private credit, and family offices and select private companies.
